i like the idea of these movies but i get bored. i’m still confused and don’t get most of it, but the one is hot so. 7/10

first half of this movie is exposition galore; needlessly convoluted and quite boring. picks up and is quite fun with some really cool scenes, notably the highway chase and *that* neo scene. interesting mix of live action and cgi, mostly enjoyed, but didnt like the all-cgi scenes

i feel like this lacked the charm of the first film, the low budget aspect gave it more character and personality.the stakes were lower too,there were less endearing qualities in zion’s scenes that made me less interested in them. the fight scenes always take me out though so….
