A good spin but he wasn’t evil enough

Very chaotic at first, but with some perseverance you'll get there, hence OK-ish

A heartwarming but also really interesting take on the writing of A Christmas Carol! Really loved the acting

Very very good. A great way of connecting the message to everyone, and somehow being its own version of The Christmas Carol.

I loved the parts where the book characters interacted with Dickens, probably because those characters are classics anyway! Didn’t much care for the rest, but the ending was superbly satisfying

I love it but also missing a lot of crapiness they didn’t show about Dicken’s real relationship with his wife. So as a piece of fiction - amazing. As a piece of fact - needs some fundamental shifts

Dan Stevens makes an amazing Charles Dickens!! The way that this movie makes his creative process come alive and the political undertones were so intriguing, I wouldn’t have taken into account the spiteful tones of Dickens and the time if not for this to be honest.

Definitely don’t remember the most of the movie, and don’t plan on watching it again.
