If you don't mind people sitting around exchanging dialogues then this is for you. One of the films that shows you don't need a high budget or multiple location sets, to be great. The dialogue and storytelling is just amazing, keeps you at the edge of your sit.

While not very action packed, the movie gives a very interesting philosophical discussion and look at humanity

I couldn't finish it. The acting, the slow drawn out plot, the dumb questions. This felt like a soap opera. Someone spoil it for me 3/10

I’ve always liked the idea of an immortal being learning as they go along. It does make sense that he moves every ten years once they realize he doesn’t age. It was interesting how edith didn’t believe he was Jesus. It was fun watching her break down from the revelation.

The conversations were interesting, but i feel this is too highly rated, i think the average person just doesn't hear many conversations like this, but for us deep thinkers these are the kinda things we talk about, the acting was bad and the story mediocre.

Honestly, pretty solid for a one-scene movie

despite the low production, i couldn’t look away. there’s something so amazing about intellectual discussion

Interesting thought experiment and I like a “single setting, dialogue driven” movie (like 12 Angry Men, for example), but the script seemed to have been written by a devout atheist with minimal knowledge of the various Protestant denominations and even less of Orthodoxy or Catholicism, as it puts forth numerous historic inaccuracies (e.g., the origins of the Big Bang theory) that are easily verified as false, regardless of one’s own religious beliefs.

One of the best films I ever watched.
The fact that it all happens inside a living room is an example that you only need a good story and compelling characters to make a good movie.
