this is the type of hallmark movie that your mom watches while you play in the neighborhood with your buddies in the summer. i’m sure older woman watch this wishing their husband was as considerate and patient as the male lead in this. it’s like a old time romance novel on screen

Very nice movie

I appreciate the historical themes and was pleased to find that the side characters were actually likable. I adore Ray (thank you Skeet Ulrich 😍)! He’s such a beautifully written love interest (who honestly deserved better ❤️‍🩹). Despite its flaws, I enjoyed the story a lot!!
