i was not excepting there to be the afterlife aspect. i’m mad they didn’t get her body and also why is she dating a senior.. and the sister is pregnant at her age⁉️

The Lovely Bones isn't thought of as director Peter Jackson's finest work, however, this story is immensely ambitious. This film is visually stunning, well-acted, emotionally impactful, somber, and has a haunting Academy Award-nominated performance by Stanley Tucci.

I watched this movie around midnight and I think it hit differently. I really liked it. It wasn’t mind-blowing, but I appreciated the symbolism behind it. Every detail was important and easy to miss if you weren’t paying attention.Also liked the full-circle feeling that it gives.
