The Love Bug
The Love Bug is such a fun, charming Disney classic. The idea of a little Volkswagen Beetle having a personality of its own is ridiculous, but somehow Herbie completely wins you over.
It’s funny, wholesome, and packed with that old-school Disney charm that makes it an easy comfort watch. The racing scenes are entertaining, Herbie causes plenty of chaos, and the whole movie has a lighthearted sweetness that you just don’t see as much anymore.
It’s definitely dated in places, but that’s part of the nostalgia. Cute, silly, and genuinely entertaining. Herbie will always be one of Disney’s most lovable characters, even if he is technically a car.
