The Lost City of Z

At over two hours, the film drags. Which is a shame, because a story this good deserves to be turned into an all-time classic.

It was a good movie. Nothing really stood out that made it amazing but it wasn’t bad. The pacing was good and the story in general wasn’t bad. All around a decent movie. 7.5/10

I can see why many don’t like this movie but I do.
If an Indiana Jones action adventure is what you’re looking for, you won’t find it.
It’s a slow burn and some would call it a drag but I really enjoyed this melancholic chronology of pure obsession.
The horrors of the Amazon are truly present and the unknown propels this movie for me.
The ending can also leave people unsatisfied but I don’t mind a “sad” or unfinished story especially when the events are mostly true.
