The Lost City

super funny

This is one of the funnier movies I’ve seen in quite some time. Unexpected fun.

I mean it had its funny moments, but it felt like it was written by Gen Z or woke millenials. Like on the same level as Don’t Look Up. It was entertaining to watch, but I don’t feel like this movie will have any cinematic value later on.

Acc was so funny

Molto carino

I needed something light and breezy tonight, and this exactly that.

I did actually like it a bit less this time, although maybe that’s to do with my mood, but did still like! It’s predictable, sure, but it’s just fun - and more importantly funNY. CGI backgrounds can look more miss than hit, but scenes shot on set/soundstage actually look really great!

There’s some great chemistry between Sandra and Channing, they’re both extremely talented in their own right, so it’s no shock that they make it work. I needed like 10x more Brad Pitt - hilarious here.

I had a really great time revisiting this, it’s 100% one of the better action/comedies of the last half-decade or so and has always held a positive view in my memory.
