The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim Reviews

I didn’t know whether to rate it “Meh” or “Like”. The animation medium worked quite well for telling a story of Middle Earth in my opinion, but the storytelling could have been better 🙃 My friend summed the movie up quite nicely as we left the theatre: men!!

THIS WAS SO FREAKING GOOD. Forced my mom to join me even though she isn’t a lover of anime-esque things she even loved it when she planned on falling asleep 😂

ta pmo so bad, like its meant to be raigebait. all those incompetent men never listening to her advice only to dump all the responsibility on her at the hardest. there was a story there, and possibly symbolism that was easy to miss bc of the bad storytelling(twas too short).

I love lotr so this was an easy watch. Cool additions to the lore. The characters were sick. Lowkey some of the va was kinda bad. The animation was incredible and the pacing was really good

The film is very good. Maybe because I don't know much about animation or similar, but I think it's a well-made film and I don't understand the criticism.

6/10 it was good but would have been better if used the 1978 animation technique (minus the live footage) as that show more emotion in there faces. Liked the story and love the LOTR universe.

I felt pretty disconnected for most of the movie but the ending was pretty satisfying

Between the run-time, sluggish pacing, and iffy animation, this was quite bland for me. Whenever Helm wasn't on screen, I found it to be a blend of tedious and unnecessary. I know it's adapting 5-10pg of source material, but this surly just for WB to keep the rights cycled.

Much better than I expected. Not much of an anime fan but found it enjoyable.

classic fantasy feel to it. Is it the next best thing to come to cinema? No. Is it a very satisfying movie to watch? Yes

i enjoyed it and the animators did very well with the graphics, i just had a hard time a couple times cause the story felt slow at first to me

Oof so bad… the only thing this movie has going for it is that it’s set in the Lord of the rings universe. I’m not sure if this story was already pre-written or if they wrote it for the film, but overall it just made no sense plot wise. I really wish it was better
