That was so fucking peak, I feel so empty, as LOTR was the greatest Trilogy I ever did lay my eyes on, and not only did ROTK seal that, it blew me out the fucking water.

1st Act 10/10 (I missed the part up to Gollum talking about his precious but the first not the second one, don’t know what I missed, but clearly wasn’t that much, also, first act is peak.)

2nd Act 11/10 (Thrilling, enthralling, edge of my seat, verge of tears, twists and turns that could dry clothes with how well they are done, all that, and it’s not even the best act.)

3rd Act 11.5/10 (Up there with Parasite, 12 Angry Men and Your Name for me, like everything is excited pretty much perfectly.)

Plot 11/10 (Holy fuck, this was the best one for me right off the dome.)

Soundtrack/Score 10/10 (Made me cry, both battle and emotional ones.)

Acting 11/10 (If I listed all the actors that were beyond incredible in this, my review would be longer then there are seconds in the whole trilogy.)

Pacing 11/10 (Relentless in its beauty to portray the story at hand, I wouldn’t change a single millisecond of the pacing.)

Cinematography 12/10 (Beautiful in all senses, and I mean, every, single, one.)

Character Development 12/10 (I’ve never cared about characters more than I did in ROTK, maybe some others equally, but to the extent of how many I cared so deeply for will never be repeated and or replicated.)

Writing 11/10 (The whole Frodo battle at mount doom is so fucking well written, I’m genuinely in so much awe.)

Ending 11/10 (Which one? Nah jk, every ending felt deserved, just wish we got to hear Legolas’s last line.)

Direction 11/10 (Peter Jackson is top 3 directors without a shadow of a doubt.)

My favorite movie of all time, with the greatest story and soundtrack ever.

The Return Of The King ultimately proves up to the series' increasingly difficult task: making movies that echo legends, making legends that reflect life, and reconciling it all with the fact that both legends and lives all eventually meet their ends.

Fantastic conclusion to a great trilogy, high stakes, great action, and I really love Sam’s character, maybe even more than Frodo. The Aragon, Legolas and Gimli trio are so badass as well. This trilogy was a lot of fun, so ahead of it’s time and I’m sad to see it end.

All of these are not good.

Franchise is sick. This is the best out of all three of them hands down. Watched extended versions put about 10+ man hours into this and was glued to the tv. So dank

Okay fine. FINE! LOTR is the greatest movie trilogy of all time. Return of the king wraps it up to perfection. Samwise Gamgee is the epitome of honor and deserves free drinks every time he enters a bar. This is CINEMA and I’m embarrassed to have waited this long to experience it.

Nothing much to say except masterpiece. From casting, soundtrack, visuals, storyline, character development, everything is 10/10.

Greatest Trilogy of all time. The peak of cinema, everything before lead up to it, and everything since has been a decline. Worth your time to watch all (extended editions) back to back to back. 100/10

crazy good ending, kinda dont even wanna see hobbits now honeatly. great cocnlusion for each and every character and a rollercoaster of emotions. hated how little recognition sam got for all his troubles tho he set the standard far too high for gardeners worlwide
