10.0 - pretty perfect. Story is all time, characters are intro’d well, score is powerful, acting is phenomenal, effects are strong, makeup & costumes flawless. There’s humor & suspense. It never feels as long as it is. Just a masterpiece. Not a single note.

Love seeing some of the characters from the hobbit! Definitely a little anticlimactic after watching the last hobbit movie but I can see how this is a strong start for this trilogy!
