5/10- solid cast and gold story

So so good. Went in with low expectations but loved it. Story had so many layers and a perfect cast (disclaimer: I love golf but this is about so much more than that!)

It felt rushed for a long game.

Little corny but well done. Characters lacked depth, especially any opponents to the team but it still got its point across. Good movie overall, I enjoyed the relationships. Hated the outcome of the coaches and wives game. Weak. 6.5/10

honestly, it’s not bad but like McFarland is better. sorry, i just saw “underdog mexican story” and clicked watch on Netflix. um, the coach realizes too late that maybe racism is actually bad and the joe guy is a major douche but watchable!
