Kount Chocula is "meh" on
The Lobster
Very similar to Killing of a Sacred Deer (which I liked). Starts off with a pretty intriguing scenario but then inexplicably abandons it with the MC leaving the hotel. From there the movie loses steam and overstays its welcome.

What did I just watch?!
Mix of shock and confusion from start to finish. I can’t say I liked it, but I also can’t say I hated it, just incredibly strange.
What goes on in the director’s mind, but one thing’s for sure: the next film on my list is definitely Bugonia.
