The Little Mermaid

My god, what a masterpiece. The CGI (esp the lighting) is a spectacle to behold. Halle was meant to play this role and she does it effortlessly. Any changes/additions added value to an already beloved screenplay. Disney’s best live action hands down.

8.2 - Congrats, Disney finally did it! The best live action remake yet, & even the slightest bit better than the original. I could go on & on with each change & why I liked it, but the best part is that each change was well reasoned & fluid, & the movie was still bright & fun.

Cool cgi but animated prince Eric is better. Although the actor is Irish and that’s like at least +2.

it was a pretty good movie that stuck close to the original plot and i liked the songs, but it will never beat the original so it’s an 8/10 for me
