The Legend of La Llorona Reviews

This is horrendous. Really awful movie. I thought it was a sequel to The Curse of La Llorona, but it’s not. It’s literally another film with the same name, but nowhere near as good. Couldn’t have had much of a budget and the acting is bad. Don’t make the same mistake as I did.

Horror folclórico decente: lenda de La Llorona ganha versão low-budget com família em férias no México atormentada pelo espírito vingativo. Danny Trejo ajuda, sustos previsíveis mas tensos, atmosfera sombria. Não inova, mas entretém sem pretensões. Sólido para o gênero.

Boring

Some atmosphere works, but CGI distracts heavily. Story is okay. Performances do just enough to keep it afloat. Setting adds cultural intrigue but feels underutilized. Unique in tackling folklore, though budget limitations hold it back from stronger delivery.
