The Legend of Frosty the Snowman

This was weird. It could’ve been shorter for starters, like the others. While it was generally a silly cute addition to the lore of Frosty, it was strange to watch as an adult. I mean, the plot is pretty much about kids not listening to their parents and running off with a “talking snowman” who they start listening to instead. Just seems like it could be a dangerous narrative…. like, replace Frosty with a pedophile IRL. I know I’m probably overthinking it but it just rubbed me the wrong way. I know the parents are annoying AF and way too high strung/strict and I get they’re trying to tell a story about the importance of imagination and not falling into conformity. But still, it’s weird to teach kids to listen to strangers over their family and run off with them. Plus these kids are like 8-10 years old and they’re mad about curfew?? Weird.
