I thought the breaking-the-fourth-wall mockumentary style was a weird choice that didn't further the story in any way. I liked some actors performances. But all in all, I didn't think the movie was very cohesive.

Different style of a movie, interesting watch, amazing actors, ending is brilliant and powerful

The Laundromat is a sharp, darkly funny look at the corrupt world of offshore accounts and how seemingly disconnected events all trace back to greed and manipulation. It’s infuriating subject matter, yet the film’s playful, non-linear style makes it both easy to follow and entertaining—even as you realize nothing will change because those in power benefit from the system. The cast delivers across the board, with Meryl Streep standing out in particular. This isn’t just a movie; it’s a sly reminder of how the super-rich rig the world for themselves. Watch it.

Really well done, enjoyable movie.

2.5/5 - eh, a kind of important story to be told, but done in the wrong way. would’ve been better if they stopped the breaking the fourth wall exposition stuff, especially at the end it just seemed out of place. It couldn’t find itself, decide plot points or key characters, or even just a general style.

I thought this was hilarious. And the acting is so good.
