Anders Thomas Jensen does not miss when paired with Mads & co. Much like the underseen Riders of Justice, this one blends dark comedy with some pretty heavy trauma very well. Both entertaining and resonant with another excellent and eccentric nuanced performance from Mads.

watched it bc my parents wanted to see it and it was actually quite funny. i felt bad for the brother who had the illness :(

This movie is both hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time. Lovely movie the more I think about it

Anders Thomas Jensen has done it again. An comedy film constantly moving between uncomfortable and dark humor, while it have us questing society and norms.

Honestly I did expect nothing from that film and got everything. PEAK humour mixed with a lot of darkness and reality. 
Although the movie brought up a few prejudices/stereotypes of DID i think they portrayed it quite well in this scenery of brutality, humour and darkness. 
The flashback scenes made me shiver, made me sick. The jokes made me laugh. The storyline made me feel as if i'd be taking part.

That's what makes a good film.

The only real criticism I have is about the cinematography, which wasn't Wes Anderson levelled but 's alright. 
And maybe the film is also a bit boring to some people who are familiar to the action genre, where the protagonist wants his money to run away. But since they threw a lot of genres into one pot, i think they balanced that out and it saved the plot.

I watched this in theaters with my school and i actually didnt expect to like it but it was weirdly good

It felt like this movie was trying to be every genre on the planet. It worked.
