Ethereally strange,
felt like growing up

beautiful animation with bittersweet ending. Being only one of your kind who feels sadness is heartbreaking. And the message that there are no happy endings because there is no ending is astoundingly devestating

the animation is gorgeous and the character design is very unique, the story isn’t entirely perfect for me but it’s very charming nonetheless

Beautiful movie, a classic and absolutely worth a watch, the art, music, and voice acting absolutely top it off

the animation was beautiful and there were so many great lines, but the story and character motivations were a bit confusing at times because why was she about to sacrifice the unicorns to marry a guy she’d just met 🤨 will definitely be reading analyses on this one

Loved this movie as a child. Rewatching as an adult it’s still beautifully done, some parts can be a little silly/cheesy, Cracking up at the hokey 80s ballads. Also why was she really about to risk it all for that man?? 😭 I would’ve been so mad if she didn’t turn back at the end

Fantastic movie and one of my favorites! It’s a sweet sad story that can make you cry but love it and the art/animation is amazing!

Gorgeous movie so freaking sad though

A beautiful story and visually really unique. But while watching it I sadly felt like it’s one of the movies that might be great in general, but you only truly cherish it if it was part of your childhood. Nostalgia would definitely improve the movie further.

I have forgotten that men cannot see Unicorns. If men no longer know what they're looking at, there may be other unicorns in the world yet, unknown, and glad of it.
