Loved this as a kid

Has the special effects ahead well? No, but this was a low budget 80’s film…..don’t expect miracles

But what this does film have is good acting, a unique plot, good alien ‘make up’, heart warming story and a sense of belonging

Don’t watch for the sci-fi special effect, but watch for the story and ❤️ of the film and you won’t be disappointed

That kid need some discipline!

Jumanji meets The Wizard of Oz in a Star Wars skin. The effects have aged faulty poorly but that’s no fault of the film. Very Star Wars-sounding score which was cool and a great sci-fi vibe. Alien makeup is good and I can tell I would’ve loved this as a younger human

Watched it in the 80s

This movie deserves a sequel, continuation or a reboot. It was that good

A really cool action/adventure movie about a local video game wizard who’s recruited to fight a real life Star War in outer space by “Michael Myers” himself (Nick Castle is famous for playing “The Shape” in John Carpenter’s Halloween in 1978).
