I did like it a lot. Didn’t imagine it would be so interesting to watch.

The Last Samurai is an idyll in which the savageries of existence are transcended by spiritual devotion. That's a beautiful dream, and it gives the film a deep pleasingness, but the fullness of life and its blackest ambiguities are sacrificed.

this movie is my whole heartttt. i’m so glad this wasn’t some white savior bs. everything about this was so beautiful and powerful. can’t believe i waited so long to watch it.

I mean come on TC! He can do it all, very long watch, but kept me engaged. I wanna be a freaking warrior now. This is legit the Japanese Hidalgo

it was actually super good and i rly liked it i’d rate it higher but I watched it in class

One of the greatest movie ever

This movie managed to impress really well with its extremely strong plotline and amazing narrative. The cast of this movie were exemplary and the way the story was told was just so compelling. It’s not action packed, but the great storytelling and acting make this a treat. 10/10

This movie ultimately made me want move a secluded village, learn the native language and culture, fall in love with the woman whom’s husband I murdered in honorable battle and settle down as a humble war torn farmer who finds the pleasure in the little things…like cherryblossoms

Watched it last night, my god I could watch it again right now, what a great movie, from the score to the cinematography, everyone is just spot on, one of my favourites for sure

Hands down Tom Cruise best performance. If you love a true story based movie, history and Japan then this is PERFECT. This movie is deep, spiritual, cultural, epic and adventurous. Absolutely love.
