The Last Picture Show Reviews

So depressing, and it doesn't fully sink in till you get to the end. I wasn't fully on board because I didn't really connect with the characters, but it just takes a little time to settle in. Not going to be my favorite from Bogdanovich, but it will stick with me for sure.

The decay of small town America and the era it leaves behind

My second watch and this movie is still a masterpiece with fantastic filmmaking techniques and acting. I love this movie.

Gostei de ver esse filme e pensar que ele não foi feito pensando na parte comercial, apesar de que provavelmente foi pensado. Uma ótima representação da sociedade e dos adolescentes do Texas dos anos 50, ver que muitos problemas dessa época ainda são atuais é meio estranho.
