The Last of the Mohicans

I understand the white savior complex is not cool but this movie is so good. The traditional depiction of indigenous culture is just amazing (I think, I don’t really know, I’m white) great movie love the action and story

One of my all time favorite movies. The story, performances and score are all incredible.

Michael Mann & Daniel Day-Lewis in a collaboration got my heart all warm as I was watching how much they actually care about authenticity and the challenges portrait in it, definitely a film where each decision carries everything to the next on a full grand scale!

I avoided this in the theaters back in the day and put it off until now. It’s good but melodramatic and a bit sappy. Solid action and seemed authentic for the period. Having an Englishman play a Native American hasn’t aged well but DDL did a solid job.
