The Last Emperor Reviews

eu vi essa criança tantas vezes na sessão da tarde que era como se eu conhecesse ela. filme. basicamente mandalorian ou last of us resumido. só muda a roupa

The result is a tendency to inertness that might not have mattered in a film of smaller scale… Yet the movie gets by on the oddity of its story, the quality of the acting, and its good looks.

Fascinating time story and history.

I think the acting, the color, the clothes, the writing, and the camera work were all incredible. Top notch. Just a long, slow, movie

My Rating: 6/10

Nominated for 9 Oscars and won all 9. While it was interesting learning about that time of the last emperor, it was very long and hard to stay awake for me. Not sure how it won so many but the visuals were A+

A classic/epic

Super sad

art

watched it in school

Good movie if you like epic type films. I enjoyed the scenes and historical aspects.

Perfection in almost every aspect

I was with low expectation on this one but I was so wrong. The film kept me captivated until the end (and it's a long one). Plus, I get to learn something they don't teach in history classes.

Open the door…

Well written

Very interesting. A testament to how power can change. From being an emperor to puppet to prisoner to commoner. Should’ve been subtitles.

While I can appreciate the historical importance of the film it is a long and rather grueling piece. Don’t get me wrong, that’s it’s intent. I’ve only seen it once when I was in high school. I don’t care to revisit this one.
