The Last Days on Mars Reviews

Another six-fi “is there life on Mars?” Movie. This one is well done with decent acting, and the movie doesn’t play out as you expect. That keeps it interesting and fresh. Fun to watch.

As far as zombie flicks go, this was very close. The plot needed some work during the ground zero infection. Overall it was good, entertaining.

I think this was good however some of the characters got on my nerves ngl like when vincent goes after lane when she had clearly left to spare him for being infected like she was. If he hadn’t left then he wouldn’t have been infected.

3.8 - It’s not BAD, it’s just as BLAND as can be for a horror thriller about a zombie outbreak on Mars.

The sets & spaces are boring, the costumes look cheap, & there’s little connection to any of the characters. The story idea starts off ok enough, even though we don’t have much reason to care about any of the people involved, but as it settles back into the zombie horror elements it loses any uniqueness. Add in that you can’t see for at least 1/3 of the runtime between shakiness, flashing lights, & complete darkness most of the action is lost.

There is just enough of an emotional conclusion to help avoid it being a complete waste of time, but ultimately there are so many better space thrillers out there.

Was hoping for more, cool plot, decent movie, nothing special

It’s a pretty decent watch and the ending allowed me to actually sit back and say this film is great for those who may not always enjoy sci-fi movies.

Zombies on Mars. what more could you want?
