The worse historical costumes, makeup and hair I’ve ever seen. weird plot points strung together. Once you get over all that it’s okay as the romance subplot makes up for it

I thought it was gonna be boring from the trailer but boy did I get proven wrong and I love that for me 😝

watched it when it came out and lowkey cannot remember much of this movie but i do remember how it made me feel and it made me feel kinda ehh. i think i just didn’t love the actual plot too much and it felt convoluted and simple at the same time somehow

i usually love hopeless fantastical mermaid stories but damn this is just too difficult to watch. what a badly written story I'm really sad
