Overall, I really enjoyed this film. There’s something incredibly moving about reading Scripture and then watching it come to life on screen, it filled me with a deep sense of joy and awe. Seeing these stories animated with such care was truly special.

From a storytelling perspective (and I know it feels odd to even frame it this way since it’s from the Bible), the pacing does feel a bit choppy at times. It moves quickly from one key story or miracle to the next, without always offering much transition or character development in between. But again, this isn’t a typical movie, it’s more of a visual journey through the Gospels, and in that sense, it works.

I think The King of Kings is a fantastic introduction for children and even adults who are newer to the Bible. The animation is beautifully done, with a style that’s both engaging and respectful. Most importantly, it stays faithful to the source material, which I really appreciated.

If you’re looking for a creative, heartfelt way to experience the life of Jesus or to share it with your family, this is definitely worth watching.

While I feel this had good intentions, the story was told in such a disjointed way that it did not keep the kids attention.

I thought it was rather poorly executed. It just consists of visualization of direct quotes from scripture with only partial context. Also, the characters in the story were really ugly for some reason unlike meta narrative characters. I liked the kid, I guess.

It was great. Awesome for kids to understand the story of Jesus in a very simple way. Well done even though the 12 apostles looked a little wack in the animation. I doubt that Andrew had an 8 inch forehead with a perfectly square skull 😂

Best movie i mean the story was on point and it really shows the kids jesus’s life. My little brother loved it and understood the whole story. i started crying near the end of the movie. Beautiful representation!

A good showcasing for children to get a better grasp of the events of Jesus Christ. Although the main kid was insufferable and the cat was too much.
