okay um this was weird. she was insane. the kid was so smart. the end honestly made sense that she had her wake up call and realized that what she was doing was insane. as she said it’s all abt perspective.

A consequential view of obsession and desire of validation. Maggie Gyllenhaal nails it delivering a raw and disturbing performance. The film will probably upset you at times as it spirals out. However, it will keep you engaged until the end.

the filming shots and attention to detail was beautiful but the main character and her whole storyline frustrated me and made me uncomfortable

Truly disturbing, but incredibly powerful having an innocent fascination that got her into something so evil so quickly. beautiful representation of fixating on something and amazing acting 8/10

The movie in itself is meh, but I think the overall topic and message of it is very important. Overall I’d say a 6.5/10

A truly disturbing yet compelling film about obsession and how it could lead you down to dark paths. This film did everything right in all aspects. I found it to be really sad and very disturbing. Great watch. Id very much recommend.

This one hit hard as I’m heavily into poetry and the movie portraits a different perspective on obsession 👌

Slow paced but keeps your attention. If you love rooting for the main character you'll definitely find yourself cringing as the movie progresses and thinking "nooooo WHY are you doing that!!"

LOVEDDDDDD this. Watched in on a plane a year or two back. Need to rewatch

disgusting and amazing, somewhat plotless but good enough to get a thumbs up.

Horrific, will have you at the edge of your seat almost. A good lesson to not trust anyone with any of your valuables that you can replace with lonesomes. Maggie is brilliant and is a star, and her style in her awkward, shy acting style really shines in this film in a good way.
