The Kid Detective Reviews

Thought the whole movie would be about a kid who is a detective not a grown up who was a detective since he was a kid. Still enjoyed the movie but the namr did mislead me. (I had seen a clip which was the scene of him as a kid so that also didnt help me figure out the concept.

Interesting Movie, had fun.

Interesting story. Lots of open ended plot threads abandoned. Poor writing

Solid movie & dark themes

A fun interesting ride.

don’t underestimate abe (or the plot)

Not the best movie ever but was a decent watch.

lowkey was asleep for half of it but still crazy

I actually thought this was really good. It’s only Rated R for slight nudity, sorta language, and then a tad bit of blood. But it was really really good.

not at all what i expected but it was entertaining, just a regular mystery movie, pretty good (he’s not really a kid for most of this btw)

B plus

strange. feels like a slow indie flick

Shockingly good Plot wise the depth that was achieved while not branching out in endless directions is the most impressive part. The foreshadowing and planting of evidence was so well done you couldn’t even tell it was there until the end. The acting was amazing 10/10 man tantrum

a dark comedy, pretty good

It was good

This was a lot more intense than I thought it was going to be, but god it was good

Not a good detective. The story was so good until it turned dark and the movie was soooo slow.

this was a good, not amazing, but really solid movie, up until the ending. a seemingly easy watch became very unsettling as the plot’s dark twist was revealed. this movie took me for a spin. it def is not a comedy and had some very dark themes! overall a pretty good movie!

Lowkey that was such an odd watch. It wasn’t bad, it was just…weird.

Watch this movie!!!!
