Strikingly dramatic and darkly comic, Claude Rains is magnificent in The Invisible man. The effects are still some of the most stunning practical effects in any classic monster movie. This deserves all the praise it gets and for its short runtime, I’d easily recommend it. 8/10

A little silly, a little goofy, but still one hell of an amazing movie. Still iconic even to this day.

The Invisible Man

A really entertaining monster movie that is kind of funny because it was made so long ago.
So it’s not so scary as the people that saw it in the 30s than this generation.

At first, I thought it was going to be a comedy. The dialogue felt a bit bizarre, and the acting was just as over-the-top. The storytelling is solid, but since it’s a film from the 1930s, it leaves you wanting more because the plot moves too quickly at times and then slows down unexpectedly.

The highlight of the film is definitely the special effects, especially the scenes where the Invisible Man removes the bandages from his face and takes off his clothes. They were incredibly well done. Universal Studios once again proved that they were at the forefront of filmmaking technology in the 1930s.

I like the 1930’s monster movies because it’s the closest evolution from Shakespeare. So the actor try harder to make the movie feel like it could be happening in ur own town. Plus the monster have actual weaknesses villains aren’t unbeatable. Plus the car n bus scene 🔥 an 8.5/10

this is my favorite of the classic monster series; it was entertaining and silly. honestly if he just didn’t wear a disguise, he would have been able to do whatever he wanted.

A lot sillier than I thought it was going to be. One of the cops was getting choked and dragged around and the other 50 cops did absolutely nothing and just continued to hold hands 😭😭
