what in the freudian psychoanalysis??

I can’t believe this isn’t talked about more as part of the classic horror canon. It’s incredible to look at, has fantastic performances (the kid who plays Miles is amazing) and is genuinely very creepy and scary.

Way ahead of its time in terms of depiction of ghosts. Let the story build because its a really slow build up but it all pays off with a really good ending.

Absolute horror classic masterpiece. Psychological horror that was way ahead of it’s time, with a true-to-Capote style. Although, as great as this movie is, the Haunting of Bly Manor series does it better; it packs way more of an emotional punch. Regardless, this is great too!
