9/10 i would’ve rated it a 10 but i was waiting the whole movie for Katniss to find Peeta, and then when she did, he tried to kill her😭. also everytime i saw Peeta i got so sad cus hes my favorite and it looked like he was in so much pain. but besides that this is a great movie!

so damn good
emulates the book so well, acting is spectacular, always keeps me on the edge of my seat
they did amazing with the cinematography and cgi too!!!

Wasn't sure where this would go, but I'm glad it's not a repeat. The themes and politics of this franchise have always been relevant and prevalent to our timeline, but watching this now, 10+ years later, I think it's clear to say Suzanne Collins studied history enough to notice the recurring patterns. I love how fleshed out the predictability is, with the whys, whos, and hows of every side, while the unpredictability feels almost ephemeral, like a game paced through nonstop adrenaline. All that said, there are still major nonsensical issues, mostly revolving around the cash-out need for a part 2.
