Best monster movie ever.

[Rewatch]: Perfect double bill COVID quarantine flashback viewing with Contagion. I didn’t remember Walking Dead’s Herschel was in this.

I like it, but idk just wasn’t the best to me

Not my favorite from Bong Joon-Ho, but it's got some heartwarming moments as well as heartbreak moments. The creature itself looked horrible, and the runtime was a bit long, but other than that, you got everything you need in a monster movie.

There is so much underlying meaning and that’s what puts this film at the top. The monster is a direct metaphor of America and its dangerous influence on the Korean people. The only thing that didn’t work for me was the comedic aspect, but that’s understandable.
