It deserved every nomination and I’m glad it had so many wins. It’s meant to be touching and teach great messages on racism, prejudice and courage to stand up for what’s right even if you’re alone in doing so. I believe they should also be a mandatory watch.

JUST SUCH AN AMAZING MOVIE🩷🩷 i just felt like it shouldn’t have ended there and i wished it continued for a little bit, but it’s still wonderful.!!

absolute heartbreaking story tragically based on real-life situations - amazing writing that makes the characters very realistic and emotionally heavy - viola davis is amazing and so is emma stone - better book but still a very good movie

Unbelievable casting and character work. Stone, Davis, Howard, Spencer, Chastain, and Janney all deliver incredible performances that make the 2-hour runtime feel worthwhile. The best and worst aspect for me is the story itself. On one hand, I love how it uses social prejudice and discrimination as entertainment while also shining a light on remedies like journalism. On the other hand, the same entertainment almost washes out the poison by being nearly too parodic and frivolous. That being said, it's filled with important allegories and is definitely baked into my mind... like a chocolate pie.

Super eye opening! A really great movie to get perspective and to see what life was like and how people were treated! Also had really funny elements!

Good movie was sad at the end and the actors did a wonderful job in the movie❤️

One of my all-time favorite movies that clearly presents the issues of racism, respect and influence. ❤If you want to look deep into the dark side of the past world, this is the movie for you.

Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer you made this movie incredible, as they both always do! Incredible!!!! Very important and incredible movie. I cannot do it justice. Jessica Chastain also incredible!

the message that it sends and the way that black maids were treated back then is sad and beautiful at the same time. Emma stone, Viola Davis and Victoria Spencer really did a magnificent job while acting in this movie.
