The Heat Reviews

Funny

I love Paul Feig comedies mostly because the casting is nearly always untouchable. The writing and comedic timing is so simplistic and untoward in the most slapstick way possible. You've probably seen most of it before but Melissa McCarthy's over-the-top act with Sandra Bullock's underestimated sleekness is golden contrasting that bangs every time. Comparing this to modern-day comedies, you can just feel the disappointment. Both of them need to come back for a sequel, I believe in the chemistry and that's 80% of the comedy.

melissa mccarthy had me laughing the whole time, very bostonian. it’s a good movie to just sit back and laugh at and not think too much about, like a lot of things are unrealistic/ they would not get away with irl but it’s so funny

i'll cackle every time

so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay so slay

WHEN I TELL YOU THAT THIS MOVIE IS INCREDIBLE I MEAN IT. MELISSA MCCARTHY IS ONE OF THEEEEEE BEST ACTORS IN ALL OF HISTORY. Plus this movie of hers is hilarious and her and sandra bullock are really a funny duo in this movie, plus she plays a detective, which is awesome and funny

Hilarious

the movie is okay but some of the jokes like the revolver are directly reused jokes from older films like Starsky and Hutch (2004) and probably countless others as well

The comedy was ok. The story was alright. This movie was nothing special but I have to praise the chemistry between Bullock and McCarthy.

Sandra Bullock the queen you are

Very funny movie. Both characters are so fun to watch and have great chemistry. The plot was good and so was most of the action. The acting was great. It did feel a bit low budget at times and a bit extra with the attempts of comedy but overall a pretty decent watch.
