The start of the movie has a couple amazing jump scares. During the middle of the movie it gets creepier. At the end it’s not scary to me at all and the end seemed to be the downfall. Overall I will say, this is definitely one of the better horror movies out there, recommend it.

I don’t hate cheap scares but I don’t like it when they’re too loud. Some were fairly good but the plot was very meh until the end. First half is scares, second half is plot.

Fear and boredom are the craziest unexpected duo but this movie somehow made me feel both simultaneously. While The Haunting In Connecticut was throughly terrifying, I still found myself disliking the film in certain moments. I think it has to do with the slow pacing, the bad quality,—which is only made worse because of Prime’s lack of care in remastering the quality—and honestly the film’s confusing plot. Was I scared? Absolutely. Was I bored? Absolutely. If I wasn’t watching this with other people I would’ve turned it off to be honest. With all that said, the movie wasn’t terrible. It was genuinely freaky. The scene where all the bodies are released from the walls is so insane I was like 😀 so we’re doing that. Also I found the mother character to be kind of annoying but she did remind me of Beth from Good Girls looks wise. I did like the dead boy poem, I thought it was pretty good way to connect things.

Really enjoyed this movie! I looove a good haunting movie! You should totally watch it if this is your kinda thing. I loved the depth, history, and detail that was put in. Especially the plot!

listen i will watch anything that has Kyle Gallner in it. AND lucky me this was SO FREAKING GOOD MAN! I got scared so badly and I loved the ending. also huge respect for all actors because the acting was amazing
