the most impactful movie i’ve ever watched

loved every aspect of this movie. it was so perfectly shown. cried multiple times during this which is lowk rare for me in movies, my new favorite movie. it’s just so perfect and i think everyone in the world needs to watch this movie at least once before they die becuz its 10/10

AHHH OMFG SO FIRST OF ALL I WAS HOUT TO DRAG HALEYS WHITE RAVIST BUTT AND THIS MOVIE MADE ME MAD AT SOFIE CARSON TOO LIKE BRUUUUU IF I COULD GO THROUGH THE SCREEN AND PUNCH HER SNOW BUNNY BUTT PIECES OF HER LIL BLONDE HAIR WOULD BE ON THE FLOOR

So amazing. So powerful. I watched this movie in elementary school and the acting is so powerful, the truth in this movie is so sad and it does amazing at showing that this is a reality and a lot of us are just ignoring it or chose to not believe it till they witness it.

I haven’t read the book (it’s on my list) but I liked this movie. There were parts I could relate to, parts that hit a little to close to home, & the acting was good. Obviously it isn’t something to watch on a whim, but if you take the time to sit and watch it you won’t regret it

i watched this in my dutch class and we’ve also read the book and this movie is good !! the acting was phenomenal and is very impactful.

Compared to the book which was a masterpiece this movie felt rushed and really drifted from the storyline itself on certain parts. With the importance that the book holds this was a disapointment and had much more potential to adress the topics of the story

This is one of my favorite movies!! I’ll watch it again if I could

As a African American I found this movie so emotionally powerful and strong the acting was a little off but it was definitely beautiful.

Such a strong movie! I'll definetly watch it again
