Would’ve rather have sat in silence for 90 minutes. ☠️ bored out of mind

Didn’t enjoy only jake movie I didn’t like kinda sad

Super intense for staying in one spot in the film. Plot is all over the place and you learn more as you go along. It’s like putting a puzzle together. Twist and turns all over. Maybe the plot is predictable to some people, but for me I was so invested I didn’t pay attention.

love this movie, 9.8/10 everyone says that you only see jake but they don’t realize that that’s the point to the movie, you don’t get to see the outside characters or what’s happening that’s the point. I love it the voice acting and acting was phenomenal

"The Guilty" is an exceptionally well-written, structured and directed psychological thriller.

Jake Gyllenhaal delivers a tremendous performance, brilliantly conveying his character's sadness, frustration, and anger beyond the screen through “”simple””vocal and facial expressions. Antoine Fuqua directs this movie with such a mastery, creating so much tension and urgency in a limited setting, which subsequently evokes a sense of helplessness in the viewer.

The narrative is punctuated by twists and revelations that constantly change the perception of the situation (and keep the audience consistently engaged)

Regarding the themes, by the end of the story, we understand the meaning of the title. Beyond exploring the psychological impact on a human being, the film is fundamentally about guilt, redemption, and self-perception.

Jake Gyllenhaal sits in the same chair for the entire movie and still manages to deliver an emotional performance. The dude is impressive.

Et le truc du meurtre du policier, on aurait aimé plus de développement 😾

I expected more from this film.

5.5/10 this was a really interesting movie, you are constantly left wondering and are slowly piecing a story together through the calls within the movie which becomes quite disturbing at parts definitely thrilling

The execution was near perfect. The choice of one person one scene serves a narrative purpose rather than a gimmick. Overall brilliantly made but geesh was it heavy. The last scene of him on his phone, the choices Jake made as an actor was so unique, heartbreaking and effective.
