God the forced romantic storyline between margaret and gibson pissed me off so much. Margaret was a real life person who did so much heroic work aiding pows, and they totally disrespected her story by adding some dumb fictional love interest especially since gibson was just a made up character. Like why fabricate a romantic subplot for her at all? So unnecessary when her actual accomplishments were inspiring enough on their own merits without hollywood bullshit. It really took away from an otherwise great historical war film. I was def happy when gibson kicked it in the end. Fuck that useless romanticization of her story. Let her be recognized for who she truly was!

Other than that, I LOVED THIS MOVIE 🫶🏻 I thought the movie kicked ass. Really intense and respectful to the true events for the most part. Just that one dumb creative choice with margaret left such a sour taste. Could've been a perfect film if they cut that crap out
