why the FUCK do people like this? it’s the most boring thing i have ever seen in my entire life. i’d get more enjoyment from watching paint dry.

I really don't get all the fuss about this, below average.
Lol just because it has a great symbolic ending shot doesn't make it great as a whole.
Loved the soundtrack/camera work/ending/drowning pool scenes, and the relatable themes.
But that's pretty much about it, everything-

Man is living the dream life!

“Meh” if the ending/directing didn’t hit so hard, mostly because it’s aged a bit badly. But that scene after the initial high, where you can literally see the doubt creep on their faces…realising they’re not sure what’s next or if they even love each other (which they don’t).

this wasnt really for me, but i liked a lot of the artistic choices made with it. theres a lot to appreciate about it even if it isnt of my personal taste
