This was always my parents’ favorite movie so I watched it a lot. For the time it was made it was a fantastic movie and it launched the idea of a group of kids saving the day that we love to see in other TV media such as IT and Stranger Things.

Omg this was so cute. Data is an ICON. the balance of this being family friendly while still having some funny moments was perfect. Mikey is drama king in the best way. Sloth & Chunk(Lawrence) are my fave duo !!!!!! Can’t believe I’ve never seen it fr

The Goonies in an entertaining movie that reminds us what was it like, as a child, to trust in wishing wells and, without thinking very much about it, switch from walking along to skipping. I had fun watching it.

This was my first time watching it, and I went in with pretty high expectations. It’s a film that tries to blend Indiana Jones-style adventure with a kids’ adventure story, but unfortunately, it didn’t work for me.
The kids are often too loud, constantly talking over each other, which made many scenes more annoying than entertaining. The story also didn’t feel particularly original, since we’ve seen similar adventures done before.
I understand why it’s considered a cult classic by many people who grew up in the ‘80s, but in my opinion, there are much better films from that decade that deserve that title. I was hoping it wouldn’t be quite so absurd from beginning to end.
