The Gold Rush Reviews

Silent films aren't exactly the most entertaining films to watch, but some do hold up, and Charlie Chaplin is proof of that. I do prefer City Lights and Modern Times, but Gold Rush has that same physical comedy, funny lines, and gags. It gets sad when Georgia doesn't show up too.

Honestly never expected to enjoy a silent black and white movie but it was quite entertaining! Didn’t really like Georgia unfortunately

Great and 100th anniversary 4K remastered version is amazing, the audio and video is also surprising.

A classic from 100 years ago is really amazing the work of this genius, how after a century he still makes laugh to the audience. And watching in a movie theater the day of the premiere one hundred years after is so special.

It was pretty entertaining and definitely good for its time. Since it was silent it’s hard to follow if you’re not paying attention the whole time so it was sort of confusing

Seemed a little long for the content. Georgia was a little too hard to like.

An incredible Chaplin comedy. It has aged very well.
