It’s giving where do the card ads sing

It’s a good movie if you’ve never read the novel. However, I HAVE, so I disliked it. The actors and actresses were great, but they were missing some key details that I felt were important to the novel that they just didn’t include here.

Lots of heartbreaking moments. Made me cry but it really captured Jeanette’s story. It was missing some parts but it was still really good. Makes you really grateful for what you have in life by the end. Still can’t believe this was based on a true story.. it’s insane

I loved the book, but the movie completely missed the point. You aren’t SUPPOSED to root for the father or find him likeable, he is the villain of the book. You can’t make a movie about a child dealing with abuse and then make the message “oh well the abuser made stuff interest”
