What?! Spoiler: waste of time. The girl didn’t have any gifts that most of the other children didn’t. And the ending was so bad wym she decided to infect everyone? What was the reason. So dumb

literally perfection

Beautiful film. Wonderful acting, and an interesting story of the classic zombie movie. The ending kinda came out of nowhere character-wise, but I get it. Still though, a great example of “Show, don’t tell”. Highly recommend.

Fantastic performances all around, especially from the child lead. I've seen plenty of zombie movies in my time, but this one felt particularly bleak. Surprisingly it was the sound design that stood out to me. Definitely nott a lighthearted watch.

starts out well, but as the movie progresses, the more uninteresting it becomes. Go watch The Last of Us instead

This was a great film. The little girl playing Melanie did so well; she played her role perfectly. I love the whole atmosphere of an overgrown and abandoned city. I really appreciated how they opened up to Melanie over time and let her be a part of the team. One thing I don’t understand is why she spread the spores?? Like how can Ms. Justineau last in the pod..?

Overall I’d rate it a 7/10
