it’s such a terrible movie, but “i may not know my flowers, but i know a bitch when i see one” is iconic

i tried my absolute bestest to like it but it was just so meh. like i get it, it's funny, but the arrangement of their facial features just pissed me off

8/22/26: Lmao how fun and cute. Of course some of it hasn’t aged particularly well, but it has real gay people playing real gay characters, and the gays are never a punchline for too long! I loved that ending omg

Honestly shocking for a movie made in the ‘60s, this is great spoofy queer cinema! A little lacking in plot/substance at points and shows it’s time, but the loud side characters and campy perspective on gay culture makes up for it

Parts of this movie didn’t age well but like overall it’s good I definitely think they should try to revamp it in a new adaptation and I thought they were actually gonna be gay at the end but it’s was the 60s so ofc not but in a new adaptation they should end up gay

This movie is so camp. It’s offensive but so old its just funny at this point.
