I loved it more than I thought I would. So much fun!!

Early Stephen Dorff film. Very cool practical effects and the story is pretty creepy.

As an 80’s kid I’m shocked that I’ve never seen this before. It just screams 80s! But one thing that has (for the most part) withstood the test of time is the practical effects. If I had seen this back when I was a kid, it probably would have scared me shitless!

Some of the acting wasn’t great, but in a horror flick with faces that melt and giant demon monsters? I quickly don’t care about the acting. This was fun

Imagine… Stranger Things + E.T. + Goonies = The Gate

Wildly underrated classic from the 80s. It’s kind of like The Goonies and Monster Squad had a baby together.

Movie made me afraid of holes in the backyard. Other than that a spooktacular time.

Lemme telll yah... Playing songs backwards do not contain messages from hell. :(

It was good. Cheesy. Like goosebumps on crack 😂

A true 80s horror classic! Really neat creature effects, top notch child actors and a cool storyline. Truly nightmare fuel.
