this is contending for my favorite david fincher film. a lot of people dislike the ending to this movie, but i absolutely love it. this is a must watch thriller. it almost takes you on a trip through the mind of a depressed person which is cool

Genuinely one of the best scripts i've ever seen. Definitely Fincher's most underrated movie. Douglas was perfect for this.
Loved the ending, the themes, how he's now free from the burden his father gave him, how he's gained control over his life, and the rebirth. Beautiful. 5/5

it was all great and genuis but the end is just no where near realistic. personally I would have flown a helicopter into the building and then drop a nuke onto it just to be sure.

very mysterious with fitting music, but he was ready to kill himself, and he even jumped, and when they revealed it was all part of the game, he was fine with it and thanked them? I don't get that.

This is one of those movies that's so tightly written and densely plotted, it leaves no room for error or viewer queries. It is a pity that it is sandwiched between Se7en and Fight Club.

The movie is ok but I feel like they tried to make the ending impossible to see coming which made for a very dumb and far fetched finale. The psychological effect of what he went through would have a tremendous amount of repercussion and realistically he would prob kill himself.

This movie is incredible. It’s slow to start, but the last 30 minutes make you feel like you’re living through a constant battle. 9/10 most definitely would watch again to catch hidden details

The most OP movie I’ve ever had the luck to stumble on. Watched this many many years ago and it still sits with me today. The twists and turns in this movie are just another level. Arguably this set the blueprint for most modern day movies that have switches you’d never see coming. 10/10

i put this off for years because I thought it was a totally different movie. i enjoyed this one for sure. i felt like L the way I predicted the entire end sequence in the first 15 minutes. it probably just means I've seen too many movies.

Pretty good, interesting idea. I don’t think it’s David finches best movie, but still not a bad one. Interesting plot and story moves along pretty quickly. Ending was decent and acting was good too. Decent mystery movie.
