I was having palpitations during this film

Sadly, this movie sucked

I thought I’d be super good because it had Mark Wahlberg, but I don’t know where it was going. They just counted down over a week for some reason, but he already had the money. What the heck is the point of this and the student girl relationship like come on

This film annoyed me. Made me feel stupid even tho it was not clever. It was the tiniest bit cool purely cos it’s about gambling and it had John Goodman in it.

Not good but not bad either

Best thing about the film was John Goodman

Paid everyone back except his mom even when given the chance.

Full of dialogues but didn’t get anything from it

In 1986, Mark Wahlberg and friends chased and threw rocks at a group of Black children while yelling the N-word. In 1988, he assaulted two Vietnamese men on the same day during an attempted theft, injuring one and striking the other with a stick while yelling racial slurs.

Another gambling movie. It’s done well but has some of those same tropes as all gambling movies.

It really makes you think about choices in life but it is one of the classics
