Too fragmented for me… I personally prefer a good story and average visuals than the opposite and this was not my cup of tea. Might try Budapest Hotel one time

Literal art. I can't even comprehend what I just watched.
Someone said in an article, "it's like walking in an art gallery" and that perfectly explains it.
Every frame in this belongs in a museum, and nothing anyone could ever say will change my mind.

it was still good ofc !! but it just didn’t hold my attention very well, i enjoyed watching it psychically but not mentally if that makes sense lol

somehow even more visually well-crafted than his best… but no matter how much i wanted to love it, didn’t find it as funny or emotionally resonant.

Not my favorite of Wes Anderson’s but still a solid addition to his impressive résumé. Great performances throughout with a standout from Adrien Brody. Every scene he was in he stole. Cinematography is something Anderson excels at and that does not differ here.

what a difficult film to review. this might be one of wes anderson’s most wes anderson movies. this movie seems to me more an abstract art piece, as it’s intention appears to be different than his other movies. it’s filled with all his ideas, not to please but to challenge. great

a series of funny lines & scenarios but as a collected piece, i didn't particularly care for the movie. I've yet to read "An Editor's Burial", a collection of early magazine articles which is said to have inspired the characters' writing styles in the movie. will update if needed
