it was honestly so ridiculous but still a fun watch. i think it could have worked better as a
“10 cloverfield lane” type where u dont know if there rlly are aliens. but its so on the nose about the alien thing, it makes it less scary. couldnt take it seriously tbh (1/?)

this was a lot more “visual” than i was expecting for the rating it has - i was shitting my pants most of the movie tbh the real footage did me in for sure

just found out it’s all a crock of shit BUT not knowing that while watching it made the movie so unsettling & horrifying

This was the best UFO found footage docu type movie that’s been put out in a long time! Creepy on a different level mixed with real life footage that will leave you questioning if it was all real or tricks. Makes you think twice about UFO truth. Def worth a viewing.

total mindfuck. definitely recommend if you like found footage esque horror.

Truly, the most horrifying movie I have ever seen. I've only been able to watch it once so far, but definitely don't watch it in the middle of the night

wish i liked it more but it just didn’t hit for me, the concept of the aliens was cool but it was a lot of yap and it was boring me

also the fact people think it’s based on real events baffles me, it’s completely fabricated 😭

The Fourth Kind didn’t really do it for me and must give it just 4.5 🍿. While the movie had an interesting concept about alien abductions and tried to mix “real” footage with dramatized scenes, the way it was laid out just felt odd and distracting. Instead of creating suspense, the split-screen approach and constant reminders that parts were “based on true events” took me out of the experience. The story had potential to be creepy and engaging, but the strange structure and uneven pacing made it hard to really get into. Overall, it just didn’t hit the mark as an effective sci-fi thriller.

I need to watch this again. I remember it scaring the crap out of me a kid.

Has been on my list forever and finally watched it last night. Amazing movie, I thought it was a true story and it freaked me out even more! One of the best alien movies I have seen. Also underrated, if you like alien movies you will love this! 8/10

Absolutely LOVED this movie growing up, it genuinely terrified me! Love love love, probably one of my favorites of its genre of ‘ reality ‘ horror. 8.7/10

This is a really cool watch. The styling of the film and the way the footage and audio has been out together and linked up is really clever and well done. It’s a great alien horror story and creepy throughout - especially the screams and other noises!
